I’m afraid I don’t have much of a post for you guys today, but at least I’m posting, right?!
Work has been so chaotic lately, and I usually post my blogs first thing in the morning when I get to the office, but I haven’t had the time to lately. And by the time I get home, I’m too tired to boot up my laptop and write (I know, excuses excuses…)
So I thought I owed you guys a post! And I have LOADS of drafts just sitting there at the moment, so since it’s a slower day, I’ll be working on those so I can start posting more regularly.
This week wasn’t anything too exciting. I’ve got a lot of work ahead of me this weekend, though, as my mom is coming into town on MONDAY!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!
I’m so excited to spend a few days with her. But I’ve got a lot of cleaning and prep to do this weekend in order to be ready for that. And that’s gonna be pretty hard, considering I was gifted the new Harry Potter coloring book today by one of my co-workers. I’m just going to want to color all weekend…
I’ve got loads of fun stuff planned for my mom’s visit, including some major shopping. So yay! I also really want to take her to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, but I’m not gonna lie- it’s as little nerve-wracking considering all the attacks going on around the world, and the recent threats ISIS/ISIL have made against NYC. But there are loads of armed guards all over the city- it’s insane. It basically feels like I’m living in a war-zone. Seeing so many police officers definitely makes me feel safe, but it’s still all very unsettling. I hate that this is all happening when my mom is coming up here- I would hate for anything to happen while she’s here, but I’m still just so excited for her visit. She’s never even met Emrys, you guys! Or seen my apartment! She’s much overdue for a visit!
I can’t believe how quickly this month has gone. It’s almost DECEMBER. Mind = blown.
And as a fun surprise for you guys, I’m going to be doing VLOGMAS this year! Every day, leading up to Christmas, I’ll go out and do something fun in the city and record it for you guys, and post it to my youtube channel (and on here)! I have been planning pretty much nonstop to make sure it’s the best Vlogmas ever! I’m so excited to do this, and to share it with all of you!
I hope you’ve all been having a lovely week and month, and I promise I’ll try to get back to a regular posting schedule (I haven’t even watched the last two episodes of Doctor Who… I’m so behind on life)!
